Photovoltaic Solar Panels
AeroQuest engineers are currently working with exciting technologies that will allow the World Home and other structures designed by AeroQuest to be self-sufficient using “renewable energy”. |

A recent break-through in a high-speed manufacturing process for the production of photovoltaic solar cells has led to a substantial reduction in the cost of P V cells. As a result of this new break-through technology, AeroQuest will now be able incorporate the very light-weight and flexible P V solar “film” into roof panels as they are produced on high speed panel laminators. |
A portion of electricity produced by the solar roof will be used to power the home or other structure during the day. The excess electricity may be stored in lithium-ion batteries or used to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen gas that can be stored and then used as fuel for hydrogen fuel cells. The electricity produced by the fuel cells or stored in battery packs could then power an electric generator for night time use or be used to power an electric vehicle.
